Everything about 316L surgical steel
The most popular material used in the manufacture of piercing jewellery. Alloy 316L is the highest quality type of surgical steel. The polished steel is perfectly smooth and shiny. It has a slightly lighter shade than titanium and a more affordable price. Due to its low nickel content, surgical steel products should not be used by people who are allergic to this metal. Steel should also not be used for fresh piercing. It can be subjected to a sterilisation process.
How to put on a horseshoe?
The horseshoe, as the name says, is a horseshoe-shaped earring. It is a very versatile earring that will work perfectly for most piercings. The horseshoe at the end of the bar has two unscrewable nuts/balls. To open the earring, simply unscrew one of the caps and the earring is ready to be put through the piercing channel. Once the earring is in place, simply screw the nut back onto the bar and you're done! Horseshoes can have two types of threads - internal and external - usually internal threads are easier to handle.
