How to put on a labret?

A labret is a bar-shaped earring that has a decorative cap (e.g. a ball or other type of jewellery cap) on one side and a flat disc on the other. In order to "open" such an earring and prepare it for insertion, it is sufficient to unscrew the ball/nut. Nothing is done with the disc, as it is permanently attached to the rod and no attempt should be made to unscrew it. The earring is inserted from the back of the piercing, so that the decorative nut is visible from the front, and the disc to prevent the earring from falling out from the back of the piercing.
